Mini Mites
Ages 3 to 4 years
Mini Mites is an encouraging winter program with a focus to introduce the sport of skiing to your child in a safe, fun and educational environment with specially trained instructors to ensure your child is well on the way to a season full of fun and learning.
Children are placed into groups according to their ability and will need to be toilet-trained and willing to participate in the activities. Maximum outside ski time is a priority and we strive to take each child outdoors for as long as is appropriate every day of the program. On-snow activities and duration, however, will be determined by the needs of all children in the group as well as prevailing weather conditions.
In 2010, the Mini Mites program will cater for kids aged 3 to 4 years and operate out of the Discovery Centre in the Lower Arcade of the Perisher Centre in Perisher Valley.

| Equipment Hire: | The wearing of helmets is now compulsory in all Kids' programs, Helmets can be hired for the season at an additional cost, please inquire at the time of booking! Rental equipment can be collected from Perisher Valley Snowsports Hire outlet prior to program commencement. Please be advised that due to space restrictions, equipment storage will not be available overnight. Responsibility for rental equipment remains with the parent. |

Junior Development Team
Ages 5 to 7 years
The Junior Development Team is the next step up from the Mini Mites program. The focus is on improving basic skills, such as correct stance and turn shape, to develop strong parallel skiing in a fun and safe environment and develop strong foundations for a variety of disciplines in the future. Choose between purchasing the program only or include lunch for the program duration.
