Nestled in the heart of Australia's high country in the foothills of the spectacular Snowy Mountains, The Station is a quick alpine breath away from the beautiful Lake Jindabyne and the magnificent Kosciuszko National Park and is the perfect venue for any group occasion, summer or winter!
Located in the heartland of NSW Snowy Mountains and only 5.5 hours comfortable drive from Sydney, 7 from Melbourne and 2 from Canberra, The Station is an easily accessible and very affordable high country getaway for your group.
The Station provides a welcome break from the more conventional group venue and location and is renowned for hosting successful and enjoyable group events of all kinds. Our unique high country location, tranquil surrounds and outstanding facilities provide a strong platform for any type of group event.
To compliment The Station's facilities, our experienced functions team are dedicated to giving highly personalised service to your group. We understand that each group requires a different approach and each group has it's own specific needs - all of which we professionally cater for ensuring your event runs smoothly and to schedule!
Your group can also take advantage of our unique mountain backyard and enjoy a wide range of activities, sightseeing, adventure and educational experiences including canoeing, white water rafting, water skiing, abseiling, rock climbing, horse riding, mountain bike riding, paintball, bush walking, gallery tours, helicopter rides and more. There are also many great Monaro drives to explore, and visits to such attractions as the Snowy River Winery, Ski Resorts, Snowy Mountains Hydro-Electric Scheme and Mt Kosciuszko (all of which can be organised by The Station).
You can also take the Skitube to Australia's roof top garden and be immersed in the spectacular views of the Australian Alps, or maybe explore the picturesque walking / bike riding trails surrounding Perisher Valley, or perhaps dine at beautiful Blue Cow Terminal restaurant.*
The Station can accommodate from 30-1200 guests and we have hosted a wide variety of groups, clubs and associations including car and motorcycle groups, schools, sporting, fishing, church and religious groups, youth, hobby, gaming, government, military, corporate, volunteer, yoga, martial arts, as well as social groups, reunions and large family get togethers.
A unique feature of The Station is that the entire complex can be closed off to the public for your group to have exclusive use of all facilities*.
