First Time Skiers and Boarders

These learn to ski/board group lesson programs for adults and children are designed to ensure that your first experience is safe and enjoyable.

Our 2.5-hour group lessons are the best way to learn new skills.

Available through the Smiggin Holes Snowsports School at 9:30am or 12:30pm and the Blue Cow Snowsports School at 10:30am daily.

First Timer tickets include your Lift Ticket and a daily 2.5-hour lesson program tailored to the needs of those who have never been skiing or boarding before.

^Age restrictions: Group lessons for 5 and 6 year olds are available for skiing only (private boarding lessons are available).

First Timer Guarantee: We guarantee you will be able to use a beginner lift after the first 2.5 hour lesson!

Free Lesson & Lift Access: Purchase a 5 or 6-day First Timer package starting Monday and receive a FREE lesson on Sunday afternoon at 1pm.

 The wearing of helmets is now compulsory in all Kids' programs including 2.5 hour lessons.

Helmets included free of charge with pre-booked All Day Kids' Programs including hire of Skis/Boots/Poles or Board/Boots pack through Perisher Snowsports Hire.

All multi-day packages are consecutive.

Skitube First Timer Super Saver

If you’re looking to come to the snow for the first time but find all of the choices and decisions a little daunting then perhaps the Perisher Skitube First Timer Super Saver package is for you. From just $149 per day for adults and $105 for kids, the Skitube First Timer Super Saver package is available from the Snowsports Hire outlet at Bullocks Flat and provides you:

• Daily access to the resort (including NPWS Park entry fees)via Skitube from Bullocks Flat which is well below the natural snow line;
• Hire of all the equipment that you’ll need - skis, boots and poles or snowboard and boot packages*;
  
• A Lift Ticket for each day of your package that provides unrestricted access to all four resort areas; and
  
• A 2.5 hour First Timer lesson through the Blue Cow Snowsports School at 10:30am on each day of your package.
