Disney and Perisher bring Club Penguin Tube Town to Resort Guests

Kids who enjoy snow-tubing with their penguin avatar in the snow-covered, virtual world of Club Penguin can hit the slopes for real this winter thanks to a new, Club Penguin-themed attraction at Perisher.
Australia's largest alpine snow resort and Disney Online Studios have teamed up to launch Club Penguin Tube Town.
"We are delighted to partner with Disney Online Studios to bring to life Club Penguin Tube Town, our snow-tubing park for kids, families and thrill-seekers of all ages. With its specially-groomed lanes, purpose-built lifts and convenient location on Mt. Piper, adjacent to the car park at Perisher Valley, Club Penguin Tube Town has quickly become a Perisher favourite.
Club Penguin (clubpenguin.com) is a virtual land of ice and snow where kids can play games, chat and hang out with friends in the guise of colourful, penguin avatars. Thanks to its rich, imaginative play environment sophisticated filtering system and team of live moderators in locations around the world, including Australia, Club Penguin has become known as a trusted provider of family fun.
"The launch of Club Penguin Tube Town takes the fun of tubing in the virtual world of Club Penguin into the real world, which is something we're really excited about," says Robb Beeston of Disney Online Studios, Asia Pacific. Each Tube Town ticket also comes with a special coin card, which can be used to add extra credit to an online Club Penguin account.
Club Penguin Tube Town is an excellent introduction to the exhilaration of riding on the snow before progressing to skiing or snowboarding. By getting the sensation of snow sliding at Tube Town, first-timers have the chance to build confidence to take the next step in conquering the slopes on skis or boards in a fun and safe environment.
