Staff Accommodation
Perisher Blue has limited staff accommodation and is therefore unable to guarantee staff housing. The company owns 300 beds in various locations in Perisher, Smiggins, Blue Cow, Guthega and The Station Resort. The Human Resources Department also liaises with Real Estate Agents and owners for additional beds in Jindabyne.
All accommodation is on a share basis. Bedrooms have single beds and mattress covers. Shared cooking facilities are supplied with electrical goods, basic crockery, cooking and eating utensils. All accommodation is fully furnished.
Rent ranges from approximately $126 to $154 per person per week for Perisher Blue accommodation and $147 per person per week for accommodation through Real Estate agents. Rent is inclusive of electricity and gas, however excessive consumption will be charged to tenants.
A deposit of $400 must be paid (by cash or credit card) for company owned accommodation. A security deposit of $550 plus a non-refundable occupation fee of $120 is also required by Raine & Horne Real Estate to secure other accommodation in their properties. Other Real Estate Agents are as per their agreements.
BONDS MUST BE PAID UPON ARRIVAL - NO EXCEPTION.
Applications for staff accommodation are provided once you have been offered a position with Perisher Blue. Once you begin working, your rent is automatically deducted from your pay.
To organise your own accommodation, please contact the local Real Estate Agents as soon as possible, as properties are limited and do go quickly.
