How to become a Ski or Board Instructor

We employ experienced staff from both Australia and overseas and in addition each season we look for new instructors to join the Perisher Blue team for the 2009 Winter Season. We are looking for Enthusiastic individuals with advanced skiing or boarding ability who would like to share their passion for the sport are encouraged to apply.

Communication skills with an encouraging, empathetic and outgoing personality and a willingness to learn and improve are essential.

Although the ability to ski or board is a prerequisite (high intermediate to advanced. Level 4+ ), prior experience in teaching skiing or boarding is not necessary.

Any person without qualifications and/or experience interested in instructing must participate in the "New Instructor Recruitment" interview, followed by in-house training.

June 2009 course dates, information and registration will be available in March.
