You can choose from a range of different positions, both indoor and outdoor. All positions are seasonal and hours vary depending on the snow conditions and business demands.
The Ski Area is the largest department in the resort and is responsible for everything from the bottom of the slopes to the highest peaks. Lift Operators are the face of our resort and maintain the ramps, mazes, loading and unloading areas whilst ensuring our guests' safety as they ride our chairlift system. Ski Patrollers are trained for all medical emergencies, responding to injuries on the mountain and policing dangerous skiing and boarding. Groomer Drivers maintain and groom all runs throughout the resort, whilst Snowmakers work through the night to create the best quality surface of snow.
Transport Drivers are responsible for operating shuttle buses and oversnow vehicles for the distribution of goods throughout the resort. Carpark Attendants assist with traffic control, security and greeting guests who choose to drive to the resort.
Trail Crew are involved in a wide variety of roles, from helping prepare for on-mountain events to ensuring all building surrounds are clear of snow and ice.
Lift Fitters, Mechanics and Electricians are responsible for the regular servicing and emergency repairs of all Perisher Blue lifts, vehicles, machinery and property.
Train Drivers are responsible for transporting passengers on the underground railway from Bullock's Flat (outside of Jindabyne) to Perisher Valley and Blue Cow Mountain.
Concourse Attendants work at the three Skitube buildings and assist guests with platform safety, crowd control, pass auditing, luggage handling and information about the Resort.
Our Snowsports Department is the largest in the country. Teaching skiing and boarding to people of all ages along with offering many other services. Creche for our youngest guests through to Winter Sports Club and Race Department for those who are really into their snowsports. To keep it all happening behind the scenes we also have other jobs available in the office and outdoors. Come and join the team!!!
With over 300 qualified professionals employed each season, our instructing and coaching positions are many and varied. Working in areas such as JSK (Junior Snow Kids), Explorer Kids and all levels up to WSC Coaching (Winter Sports Club). Other positions within the Snowsports Department. Are you experienced with Child Care? We have Child Care positions, for those who are computer savvy we have Scheduler positions. We also recruit for Indoor/Outdoor Support Workers and Race & Special Event Workers
There are 5 Retail and 6 Hire outlets in the Resort. Retail and Hire Assistants help our guests' with sales, equipment hire choices and ski, board and boot fitting. Technicians tune, wax and repair our guests' skis and boards.
Mountain Hosts ensure a great guest experience by providing information about the Resort and services available as well as taking guests on guided tours across the Mountains.
Reservation Consultants assist our guests with accommodation information and bookings from their office at the Station Resort in Jindabyne.
The Station Resort Hotel, located in Jindabyne, sleeps 1,500 guests in 254 rooms. Entertainment is provided every night, including great bands and dance parties. The property boasts a Pizza Station, Bars, Chargrill, Nightclub, Pool Hall & Food Court. The Perisher Valley Hotel, located on the slopes in Perisher, has 31 deluxe rooms, a cocktail bar, Snow Gums a-la-carte restaurant, Sauna, Spa & Masseuse. F&B outlets are also located in Perisher Valley, Blue Cow, Bullocks Flat and Guthega.
