Where is Jindabyne?
Jindabyne is the main town servicing the two major NSW ski resorts. It is located in the Snowy Mountains approximately 450 kms south west of Sydney and an easy two hour drive from Canberra.

By road:

Jindabyne is any easy 5 to 6 hours drive from Sydney via Canberra and Cooma, over half the way on dual carriageway roads, and around 7 hours from Melbourne.

Canberra Airport is a 2.5 hour drive from Perisher Blue and a 40 minute flight from Sydney. Canberra International Airport is located about 7 kilometres (10 mins) from the city centre. While it is not an international point of entry into Australia, flights to and from Canberra make convenient connections with flights arriving in, and departing from, Sydney and Melbourne. Qantas, Virgin Blue all have regular flights.
