Perisher Blue Summer

SKITUBE TO CLOSE FOR SUMMER

Due to declining summer patronage over past years, the Skitube, which accesses Perisher Valley and Blue Cow from Bullocks Flat, will be closed for the summer.

Whilst the Skitube is seen as a vital link for winter guests and will be an instrumental transport link once the Perisher Village is underway, it has not received the patronage to justify remaining open over the non-ski season months.

Approval has been received from the NPWS, after conducting wider community consultation, to allow the facility to close for this period.

Access to Kosciuszko National Park* and Perisher Blue will be via the Kosciuszko Road.
